28 Days of Good Energíais a project of Creative Capital. Additional funding is provided by MAP Fund, SuperValu Foundation and Metropolitan Regional Arts Council.

This activity is funded, in part, by appropriations from the Minnesota State Legislature with money from the State’s general fund, and its arts and cultural heritage fund that was created by a vote of the people of Minnesota on November 4, 2008.

Open Kitchen & Happenings are supported by The America Project, a program of MAPP International Productions with funding from The Nathan Cummings Foundation. Artist, educator and activist Sekou Sundiata (1948-2007) created The America Project in 2001 as a means to bring together creative process and public engagement in service to imagination, civic dialogue and critical citizenship. The America Project informed and culminated in his 2006 multimedia theatrical performance, the 51st dream state. Today, MAPP International Productions carries forward The America Project, by developing and supporting artist-driven initiatives that empower people from many walks of life to explore the intricate and powerful connection between their citizenship and their creative voices.

¡Viva la Soul Power! and Feed & Be Fed (Alimenta & Alimentarán) are part of Intermedia Arts’ Catalyst Series.

¡Viva la Soul Power! is a National Performance Network (NPN) Creation Fund Project co-commissioned by Intermedia Arts in partnership with Kaotic Good Productions, Asian Arts Initiative and NPN.
