RANT
Written and Performed by Lisa Channer

RANT is a performance portrait of a man with a rant, set to a riff on edge-of-the-cliff parenting. It combines and entwines writer/performer Lisa Channer's father's 45+ years as host of the longest-running show on Manhattan Cable Television "Conversations," the two-day lecture "Everything I Know" by R. Buckminster Fuller, and vast musings on losing Utopia. It is also about that feeling when amazing things feel just out of your reach. Adn it is about finding hard love. RANT is directed by D.J. Mendel, with music composed by Dan Dukich, media by Eric Larson, and featuring performances by Lisa Channer and Daniel Rovinsky.
