Institute for Community Cultural Development

Intermedia Arts is working to relaunch the highly successful Institute for Community Cultural Development (ICCD), a leadership development program for people who work at the intersection of the arts and community development. We believe that the future health of communities demands innovative, cross-sector leadership at every level. The mission of the ICCD is to integrate arts and community development resources and leadership to contribute to the creation of capable, caring communities. ICCD takes place over 5-months allowing 16 Twin Cities leaders to take part in hands-on workshops and on-site experiences that engage artists and community developers in innovative partnerships across sectors and disciplines. By addressing social justice issues that affect the communities surrounding our facility, the partnerships that have developed from this program have had a dynamic impact.
