Have you always wanted to make drawing or objects come to life? In this workshop we will cover a variety of techniques, from stop-motion animation, to drawn 2-D. We will also cover media theory as it applies to animation. We will look at concepts of identity and examine ways we can more critically analyze other works. By the end of the workshop you will have learned new techniques and concepts and will have a short animated film to show for it. This workshop is for youth between the ages of 12 and 15.

A weeklong summer day camp for girls ages 10-18 featuring the Project Girl media literacy curriculum. Twin cities artists will lead girls in hands-on arts workshops using writing, poetry, digital photography and visual arts.
