As
an engaged and active member of Hip Hop (Twin Cities and Chicago) my photography
and design reflects the experiences of myself as well as the women I aim
to document. From highlighting the diversified talents to dissecting the
expectations for women in Hip Hop, I infuse my photography with raw emotion,
telling the “real truth” about who we are, want to be, and
the struggles we face – internally and as a community of sisters.
I am currently working on a collection of interviews and accompanying
photography.
