Femme9

Femme9 is a writer from Kansas City who picked up a can of spray paint in 96 and hasn’t put it down since. In the beginning it was all about getting up, learning history, studying letter styles and the roots of this medium. Later it was the freight train movement that inspired her style. Now she’s focusing on gallery shows, logo/design work, commissions, and painting larger than life portraits with a feminine touch. The opposition involved with being a female in this male dominated activity hasn’t held her back and the challenges make her stronger. Many female writers yearn to be “one of the guys” but through her art work, and in all walks of life Femme9 shows what a truly great thing it is to be a woman and she wouldn’t have it any other way!
