This series of images was made in Venezuela,
were social activism and hip hop have joined forces to make radical social
change. Voces Latentes, for example is an image I made in the Penal de
Carolina, a juvenile jail where youth are starting up their own radio
station. I want to showcase hip hop in Venezuela and bring to light the
energy and skills I found there. |
