		For the past two years, the B-Girl Be Advisory Board of girls and women and Intermedia Arts have most generously devoted time, energy and expertise to put together the first B-Girl Be Summit. B-Girl Be has been made possible because of their selfless donations. Thanks to generous donations of art, labor, time, energy and funds, B-Girl Be is finally happening! Make History! 		Monday, May 16, 5:30–6:30 pm Over the last two years, a group of young women have been getting together weekly at Intermedia Arts to develop the idea and concept for B-Girl Be. These women have collaborated, planned, plotted, stuck their necks out, dared to dream, and pulled out all the stops. Thanks to their passion, we are proud to support them as they produce the first-of-its-kind Women in Hip-Hop summit in the Twin Cities. B-Girl Be: A Celebration of Women In Hip-hop The summit will be the place to make connections, build confidence, sharpen skills, and to gain access to the tools to create music, film, poetry, rap, aerosol art, and dance. This summer, the doors will open for women of all ages and cultures to celebrate women’s accomplishments in all elements of hip-hop. Now it’s our turn.
