| "Having been born in a minority refugee immigrant family in one country and immigrating to another country in my early twenties have provided me with a unique set of skills and perceptions. Transitions are difficult and challenging, yet they provide us with a unique set of skills and perceptions. Life is in a constant mode of change and it helps us to engage our thoughts and actions with that in mind. That is part of the reason why I believe that in my art, I have sought as much as I can, a wider and more universal perspective. I intend to explore with my audience ways by which we can connect to those deeper connections and derive a deeper sense of what it is to be truly human. I will work with a variety of media, disciplines and traditions." | ||
