| Katie Ka Vang is a Hmong-American actress. Katie has preformed for the Center for Hmong Arts and Talent, Pangea World Theater, Theater Mu and Expose Brick Theater. She is also a part of Breaking Ice, an original theater performance through Pillsbury House Theater using poetry, music, movement and structured improvisation to bring difficult issues to life. Katie assisted in the production of the H-Project, a compilation CD raising awareness about the Hmong genocide in Laos. In addition, she manages a propelling Hmong rock band called Shattered Echo'Z. Through poetry and spoken word, Katie would like to share her experience as a Hmong-American to raise awareness and build understanding between cultures. | ||
