Her CD, Carnival of Life, features original music and lyrics blending Latin, Jazz, and European elements, and includes a tribute to Frida Kahlo. Roma participated in the Latin Grammys Nominee celebration in Los Angeles in 2000, and has produced cultural events locally, including the Latin Renaissance at Orchestra Hall. As a social worker and artist, Roma unifies her love for the arts with community projects that address social issues, educate, and provide a better understanding of the intercultural influences in American society.
