Born and raised in Korea, Hansoo Kim came to America when he was 24 years old and finished a Master’s degree in Computer Science. His passion was art, but he was never able to accomplish this because it was against his parents’ wishes. Twelve years ago, he started learning computer animation and has since been running Oops Animation, Inc., a full-service animation company. As a young boy, Hansoo read many folktales. Realizing that children’s shows were not really very kid-friendly, and having always wanted to create something both fun and educational, Hansoo decided to make animated folktales for his own children. Hansoo’s featured digital animation is entitled Lazy. Created for children, Lazy is set in Korea and revolves around a young boy with the same name whose laziness leads him to adventures and big lessons in life. |
