A Heart-Felt Thanks to Our Community
Intermedia Arts' first annual Valentine's fundraiser, Love Rox, was a complete success! Thank you to our over 200 guests for making Intermedia Arts a part of your winter celebration of love. We set the record for longest Twister marathon with a six–hour game (Guinness approval pending), captured over 90 people smooching on film, and raised over $10,000 to support our arts programming in the community. Here on Lyndale Ave, the good feelings are still palpable— or maybe it's the afterglow after all of the aphrodisiac food we ate!
... what's there to say about an evening that's simultaneously the best date night ever, but also a great time for the unattached but artistically inclined? Love Rox reminded me of what Archibald McLeish said about poems: poems should not necessarily mean things -- just the fact that they exist is enough.—City Pages
