The National Conference for Media Reform, June 6-8, 2008
The National Conference for Media Reform (NCMR) will make media reform a bona fide issue on the national political agenda. It will be a weekend chock full of exhilarating learning, sharing, networking, and training opportunities. Over three days, the conference will feature 60 fascinating panel discussions and workshops plus inspiring speeches, multimedia presentations, film screenings, roundtable meetings with policymakers, regional caucuses for you to meet media reformers from your home state, and dozens of receptions and parties. We will focus on broadening the media reform movement, envisioning the future of our media system, harnessing new technology for change, and achieving concrete policy victories through sustainable organizing.
Walker Art Center Teen Arts Council
Since 1994, the Walker Art Center has been the innovative leader in teen programming, providing cultural institutions around the world with a successful model for engaging teenagers. The mission of Teen Programs is to connect teenagers to contemporary art and artists. The Walker was the first art museum in the country to devote full-time staff to working with and building teen audiences.
Perpich Center for Arts Education
The Perpich Center for Arts Education (PCAE) is a dynamic agency of the State of Minnesota, and a unique state-of-the-art organization of national stature representing Minnesota’s dedication to excellent education. Perpich's mission is to improve K–12 education for all Minnesota students and educators through innovative programs and partnerships centered in the arts. A 30-acre campus in Golden Valley houses the Center’s Professional Development and Research (PDR), Arts High School (AHS) and the PCAE Library.
Hardy Girls Healthy Women
Hardy Girls Healthy Women (HGHW) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the health and well being of girls and women. Our vision is that all girls and women experience equality, independence, and safety in their everyday lives. To that end, our mission is to create opportunities, develop programs, and provide services that empower them. Since day one, Hardy Girls programming, resources and services have been powered by the latest research in girls' development. Much of that research comes from the work of Hardy Girls co-creator and board member, Lyn Mikel Brown.
The Emily Program
The Emily Program is a treatment program that provides comprehensive psychological, nutritional, and medical care for individuals with eating disorders.

With the help of more than 18,000 dedicated adult volunteers, Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys serves 51,000 girls, between the ages of 5-18, in 49 counties across southern Minnesota and western Wisconsin, helping them build courage, confidence, and character to make our world a better place.

New Moon Girl Media’s mission is to help girls, ages 8 to 15, discover their unique voices and express them in the world in ways that matter. New Moon magazine is the only girl-centered publication to win the Parent’s Choice Foundation Gold Award seven times.
