The G.A.M.E.
Graffiti Art Mentoring & Education
What is “The G.A.M.E.”? The G.A.M.E. is a structured aerosol/graffiti artist-based program designed to mentor and educate youth and young adult artists on the aerosol/graffiti art culture, history and techniques by allowing them the opportunity to create full-scale murals. Our goal is to bring positive recognition and increase respect for the artists and the culture of the art form, with the hope of breaking down some of the stereotypical barriers within the community that prohibit the acceptance of legal aerosol/graffiti art murals. Through positive working relationships with local businesses, we also hope to obtain more legal wall space throughout the city.
How can I be a part of “The G.A.M.E.”? In order to participate in “The G.A.M.E.”, you must first get in contact with our artist-in-residence and mentor JoJo at thegame@intermediaarts.org. You must next meet the artist requirements and have a confirmed understanding of the rules and regulations within the organization and sign off on a waiver.
