Rules of The G.A.M.E.
Intermedia Arts strives to support the work of experienced and emerging aerosol/graffiti artists alike. We hope that our direct involvement with artists and crews creates opportunities for creative growth and opens the door to many more artistic endeavors. Please respect and follow the guidelines below and contact JoJo to reserve your space to paint this summer.
- Painting on ANY and ALL of our walls is now by permission only. You must first contact JoJo at thegame@intermediaarts.org for more information about painting, scheduling, placement and any other support required for completion of your Mural/Production. Space is limited; Mural placement is decided upon your skill level and is at the discretion of JoJo.
- Do not write/paint on the neighboring walls, fences, buildings, etc. Any confirmed violations of this rule could put the program in jeopardy and can terminate you or your crew from the program.
- We reserve the right to paint over any piece or ask any person or crew to stop painting, at anytime.
- Murals/Productions only. You will be given a specific amount of time to complete your Mural/Production and it will remain up for a specific amount of time, before the next group gets a chance to paint.
- Do not write/paint on the sidewalks, parking lot, bike racks, dumpsters, gates, handicapped parking signs or sculptures on the Intermedia Arts property.
- Do not tag, sticker or paint in any area that is not designated as a painting, sticker or tagging area. The door area in the parking lot inside corner will no longer be a free space.
- Do not move or stand on dumpsters, benches, etc. Scaffolding and ladders are available upon request.
- Respect the program and property by cleaning up after yourself. Dispose of paint cans properly, recycle beverage containers, and throw away any trash. There are recycling and garbage receptacles at the far end of the parking lot and a cigarette butt can by the side door.
- No roof access is allowed. This is a serious liability issue.
- Gates may be locked on any given evening or weekend as we deem necessary. Trespassing laws will apply to any violators.
